Daniel held a clipboard in his hand with a list of names on the piece of parchment, sighing as he ran his hand through his silky brown long hair; it had been a really long day for him but was really rewarding as well and that what he liked about the job because even though it is a tough job looking after so many student they always rewarded him with a thank you and a warm, happy smile when he was finish helping them which made him happy that he could make people smile and feel better afterward. He heard a young girls voice and started to look around to the sorce of the voice then spotted Marie standing inside the Hospital Wing with her six month pregnant baby in her stomach with her. Why, hello Marie. I'm sure am suprised to see you here, can i help you" smiled Daniel as he put down his clipboard onto one of the hospital bed where one student laid snoring loudly in his sleep; Daniel's voice so velvet and soft, his vanilla honey, intoxicating; promegrante breath, blowing onto her cheek softly.

"just came to see how your doing,"marie said loodking at the student snoring in the bed next to them

"Oh, alright. I'm doing a pretty good job, i guess just cleaning up a bit. I must say the student are sweet, lovely kids" Daniel smiled as warmly as he could muster at the headmistress. He scratched his shaved beard and walked over to the Headmistress, examining her for a minute then finally looked up at her with that warm, inviting smile on his lips. "How is your baby treating you lately" he asked showing a small intreast to her for a bit as he leaned against the bed; with his back pressed against the bed where another student laid down sleeping as well as he waited for Marie to reply he looked down at the student for a bit checking if he was okay by putting his hand over the boy forehead and could feel that he was cold that he was a bit pale so he helped tucked him more warmly into his blanket then put a heating charm over him.

"yes they are," marie said puttin on hand on her stumic. "He's doing fine,"marie said still not noimg for sure if it was a boy or girl because she didn't want to look at the autrasond she wanted it to be a surprize.

A soft misty laugh escaped his lips when he heard that Marie told him that the baby was fine. Daniel watched her carefully, his expression serious for the moment and let out a sudden loud gasp as he forgotten to breath; realizing that it was rude for him to let a pregnant woman stand there on her feet while they were talking. "My apology, Headmaster. Please take a seat, please" told Daniel in a voice that was sounded almost calm and soft as he gestured to a spare chair that he placed for the student friends to come and visit them. He put his hand behind her back and onto her shoulder on the other side of her then carried her arm over to the chair then helped her into the chair as if she was a elderly woman.

"Thank you,"marie said laughing now wondering if the baby was a boy or girl.

Daniel smiled warmly at her as he relaxed and sat down on the bed; at the same time trying not to wake the boy up, otherwise the boy would've had gotten enough sleep which he needed because he too had a long hard day as well. Turning, his attention to Marie again, his eyes boreing into her eyes but not in an uncomfortable way but in a polite and respectful way. "Did you need something checked up or something, anything, the baby maybe or are you fine" proposed Daniel offering to give her assistance about anything because he really cared about the teacher plus he didn't have anything better to do now that everyone was a sleep now and he couldn't do much beside talk to the headmaster, clean up then go straight for bed.

"Draco wants to no what the baby is.."marie said, "but i don't no if i want to no or not."

Daniel crossed his arms together, his eyebrows frowned at her when she said that she didn't know if she wanted to know or not. "Oh, why not" asked Daniel softly.

"Sometiems i think i want to no but sometimes i want it to be a surprise." Marie Said looking up at Daniel

Daniel's expression soften a little, he understood how she felt. "I understand, but at least let me examine the baby status and suggest some kind of medical treatmeant" he said, his voice was as calm and smooth like a cloth of silk.

"ok,"Marie said,not understanding what he said

Another soft mystical laugh escape his lips, as Daniel realized that he was talking in a way that was difficult for her to understand. He didn't mind it at all, a lot of people had trouble understanding what he told them sometime which was perfectly normal because it was probably some kind of language that the medical care have made up. "I'm going to just see if he is okay" repeated Daniel explaining what he just told her earlier so that she understood him and felt comfortable about what he was about to do and so he pulled out his stethoscope then started placing it on her chest then down at her stomach where the baby was hearing for any odd sound but everything was perfect. Finally, he used a charm on himself to see through her body to check the baby and find out what gender it was but he wasn't going to tell her because as she said that she wanted it to be a surprised.

"How is he?"marie asked as dainal examined the baby

Daniel removed the stethoscope from his ear and looked at the baby then back at Marie as a smile lit up on his face. "The baby is fine" he assured her trying his best not to spoil her surprise as he placed a hand on her stomach and felt something beating against her stomach and a leg gently kicking it. He smiled warmly at Marie and grabbed her hand softly, placing it onto her stomach and watched her carefully; watching her reaction when she felt the baby pushing against her stomach and the heartbeat you can feel when you touched their chest from the stomach. "Do you feel that" whispered Daniel with a encouraging smile as he kept his hand laid on top of her hand, his voice soft and gentle, his eyes bore into hers as he massage her hand softly; watching her closely.

"Yes,"marie said smileing

Daniel smiled and removed his hand from hers and just stared into her beautiful blue eyes. "What were you thinking of naming him" asked Daniel.

"i don't no,"marie said,

"Do you need help, deciding a name" asked Daniel, he knew a few nice girl and boy name and in fact his name was probably he favorite one as well not because it was his name but it was so casual and easy to pronouce.

I think i can come up with something,"marie said, "but thinks for the offer,"Marie said smileing and standing up

"Very well" Daniel said to her, "No problem" he smiled at her and watched her stand up. "Already leaving, professor" asked Daniel looking at her, strangely.

"shouldn't i get back to work, mr. valentine," marie said looking at him with a smile

"Very well, Professor" Daniel said looking at her with a smile back, "Allow me to escourt you out please."
